HISTORY IN BRIEF
1973 - YEAR OF FOUNDATION
WALMAZ was founded in 1973 by Mr. Walter Mazzon who decided to go into business on his own after many years of experience in the field of mechanics, his last position being head of the engineering department of a local company in the avicultural systems manufacturing business.
The company’s initial purpose was the manufacture of dies for the cold-working of sheet metal. The company was set up as a one-man business and baptized WALMAZ DI MAZZON WALTER.
Its original premises consisted in a rented single-storey industrial building in Arsego in S. Giorgio delle Pertiche area. However, the business soon took up residence in a new industrial building belonging to the company owner behind his own home, again in Arsego, with 600 sq m of floor space.
1977 - A NEW ENTRY: PRESSING
In 1977, the corporate purpose was extended to include sheet metal pressing, performed under the same name.
1985 - ACTIVITY MOVED TO CAMPODASEGO

1998 - SPLIT OF THE ACTIVITIES

During the course of 2002, WALMAZ STAMPI SRL purchased a large plot of industrial land in Arsego di S. Giorgio delle Pertiche, where the new facility is planned to be built.
